If you have a temperature alarm system connected
to a telephone dialer or a central monitoring service, you
will immediately recognize the value of Hampshire Controls'
ADM (Temperature Alarm Delay Module). The Model ADM
will save you a night's sleep and/or an expensive service
call, by ending false alarms without jeopardizing your alarm
function!
This unit allows you to set a time period that must be completed
with the alarm continuously present, before the alarm is sent
to the dialer or supervisory system. Thus, a transitory condition,
such as a short power interruption, that quickly corrects
itself (before the selected time-out), will not result in
an unnecessary phone call or a charge for a response that
was un-needed.
The Model ADM latches the alarm state (until
the user resets it), with a flashing LED that indicates the
transient alarm condition.
