The Model TS4 temperature monitor alarm system can be configured with two, three or four temperature probes (sensors) to monitor and alarm based on user-specified temperature constraints (within an operating range of -100°C to +100°C). The product has a full range resolution of 0.1 degree, accuracy of +/- 0.2 degrees, and is very flexible. For example, an operator can easily program different set-point and alarm activation time-outs for each probe, as well as varied delay periods for relay activation and mute the audible alarm.

Model TS4 standard options include a two-color printer for hard-copy of electronically data logged temperature information, and a built-in battery and charger for approximately 100 hours of operation in the event of power failure. The unit also has several panel, and mounting bracket options that enable wall, cabinet top, or through-panel mounting.

Applications typically include freezer, refrigerator and walk-in environmental chamber temperature monitoring. The operating program can also be customized (by modifying the standard alarm sequence logic) for use in biological or blood storage applications.
